Woolworths impostor

However, Woolworths Group Limited confirmed to AFP Fact Check that it has no association with the Facebook page in question and added that it has not advertised the jobs.

“These vacancies are definitely not from Woolworths,” said company spokeswoman, Nwabisa Tyatyaza.

“Please note that all our vacancies are posted on our website at http://woolworths.pnet.co.za  and updates occur daily. Applications are then sent to the e-mail address provided for specific vacancies,” added Tyatyaza.

According to Facebook’s transparency information, the imposter Facebook page was created on May 17, 2021, the same day it listed the first fake job listing.
