The infographics have appeared in multiple Facebook posts, for example here on May 8, 2019.
The misleading post has been shared more than 34,000 times.
Below is a screenshot of the misleading Facebook post:
The image contains infographics purportedly showing presidential elections results in 15 Indonesian provinces: Riau, South Sumatra, Aceh, Jakarta, Bengkulu, North Sumatra, West Sumatra, South Sulawesi, West Java, North Maluku, South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, Southeast Sulawesi, Banten and West Nusa Tenggara.
In the top left-hand corner of the infographic, Prabowo Subianto and his running mate Sandiaga Uno are pictured alongside an Indonesian-language text which translates to English as: “CONGRATULATIONS & SUCCESS FOR THE VICTORY AND THE ELECTION OF PRABOWO SANDI AS PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT OF REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA 2019-2024”.
The misleading Facebook post's caption translates to English as: “Let’s make it viral!!!!!!? The complete results of provincial KPU. People have to know. 02 wins…. God is great!! Don’t hesitate.”
“02” refers to Prabowo’s ballot number in the April 17, 2019, presidential election. Here is a Kompas story on the ballot numbers assigned to Prabowo and incumbent Jokowi. Here is an AFP report about the presidential and legislative elections.
The same infographic was shared with an identical caption on Facebook here and here.
Below is a table created by a journalist in AFP's Jakarta bureau which shows the purported election results shown in the misleading infographic:
All figures shown in the misleading infographics are false; the data does not correspond with official vote data per May 10, 2019, available on the KPU website here.
Below is a table of the correct tallies shown on the KPU website as of May 10, 2019, Jakarta time:
The screenshots of infographics containing the actual results seen on the KPU website can be accessed in this Google Drive folder created by AFP.
In the early morning hours of May 21, 2019, the electoral commission announced the final vote count of the presidential election, declaring incumbent Jokowi as the winner, according to this report by The Jakarta Post.
