"Typhoon In-Fa comes," reads the simplified Chinese-language caption of this video posted on YouTube on July 26, 2021. "The footage when it landed in Shanghai."
The video has been viewed more than 100 times.
Typhoon In-Fa lashed eastern China with high winds and heavy rain on July 25.
The typhoon's effects were felt in Shanghai, China's largest city, with strong gusts of wind and consistent rainfall, AFP reported.
The video was also shared on Twitter here, here and here in similar posts viewed thousands of times.
However, the claim is false.
The video has in fact has circulated online since at least 2018. It shows the Chinese city of Shenzhen in Guangdong province -- not Shanghai.
A keyword search found the same video was posted on Chinese video site Bilibili on September 16, 2018.
The video caption reads: "Typhoon Mangkhut in Guangdong blows people away."
Typhoon Mangkhut hit mainland China on September 16, 2018, after leaving a trail of destruction in Hong Kong and Macau.

AFP used visual clues in the footage to trace its location on Baidu Maps, which indicates it was filmed on Cuizhu Road in Shenzhen.
