Arthur G was injured on December 29, 2018 during a yellow vest march in Toulouse. Contacted by AFP, he said he did not want to speak with journalists “now or in the future”.
According to a source close to the case, Arthur suffered a “hemorrhage wound to his right eye as well as facial fractures. An operation was unable to save his right eye."
The same source said that Arthur’s case had been investigated, and that he "claimed that during the march he had climbed the wall of a nursery with some other protesters and, as he left, was struck violently in the face. He said that when he was struck, he found himself in a crush surrounded by people he did not know."
