No, Filipino actor John Lloyd Cruz has not died

One report claimed that Cruz, one of the most popular leading men in Philippine cinema, jumped to his death from a Manila condominium.
The headline read: "Rest in Peace John Lloyd, who jumped from a condominium after he learned he's not the father of Ellen's child."
A second one published the same week said that he perished in a carjacking.
Here, the headline claimed "John Lloyd Cruz died after he was carjacked in Rockwell early morning on his way to his condominium."
These reports, part of a trend apparently by sites to drive traffic and boost advertising revenue, claimed to have been shared 32,000 times on social media.
However, after the reports appeared online, Cruz was filmed in the video below as he walked out of a court hearing for actress Ellen Adarna, who faces criminal charges over an online confrontation.
