This photo shows Sheikh Hasina cooking on her son's birthday in 2013

The image was posted here on Facebook on October 3.

"Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is cooking on her 75th birthday," the Bengali-language post reads.

The photo shows Hasina -- who turned 75 on September 28 -- cooking.

The posts drew praise from social media users, who wished Hasina a happy birthday.

"We've got a leader who is an all-rounder!" one person commented on Facebook.

However, the photo was shared in a misleading context. 

Google reverse image searches found the photo was originally posted to Facebook in July 2013 by Hasina's son, Sajeeb Wazed Joy.

"A special treat for everyone. The Prime Minister is cooking chicken pulao for me! Her pulao is really the best I have ever tasted," he wrote.

Media outlets published the photo in 2013 reports about Hasina celebrating her son's 42nd birthday.

"Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday herself cooked "chicken polao" for her son, Sajeeb Ahmed Wazed Joy, on his birthday," the Dhaka Tribune reported. 

"Joy’s 42nd birthday was celebrated in a low-key with family members-- mother Sheikh Hasina, wife Kristine Overmyre, daughter Sophia and sister Saima Hossain Putul and her four children at the prime minister’s official residence Ganabhaban."
