Clip shows Nigerian air force members beating curfew violators, not separatists

Military forces stationed in Nigeria's southeast region have been accused of being heavy-handed with local communities. A recent post on Twitter alleged a video showed Nigerian soldiers torturing members of a separatist movement known as “Biafrans”. But the claim is misleading: the clip is of Nigerian air force members assaulting people who allegedly violated a curfew in southwestern Osun state in October 2020.
